I’ve been looking into medium-sized e-readers myself because I do a lot of reading for both leisure and work in book publishing. Personally, I’ve found that something in the 7–8 inch range strikes the right balance. It’s big enough to comfortably read PDFs or manuscripts without constant zooming, but still light enough to carry around on commutes. Being in Canada, I’ve had the best luck ordering through Indigo/Chapters or directly from the manufacturers’ websites (like Kobo or Amazon). I’d love to hear what others here prefer, especially if anyone has tested both Kobo and Kindle side by side.
